Ayanda Bhengu

Hi, my name is Ayanda Bhengu.

I am a proud mom of two daughters. I live with my mother, brother, sister, and my two girls in Durban.

My journey started with SA Rebuilders. My mother used to go there to collect milk, and that is how we heard about them. Sister Lungi told my mother that they were looking for young people who wanted to learn and chase their dreams.

My brother, my sister, and I registered for a six-week course. These six weeks changed my life.

Through SA Rebuilders, I got the opportunity to travel to Johannesburg for the first time. It was also my very first flight. I was scared and excited at the same time, but it showed me that my dreams could be big.

SA Rebuilders believed in me. They trained me, trusted me, and gave me an opportunity to work as a filler in their butter department. They also support me by providing the whey that I now use for my business.

That support inspired me to start Whey Delight Cookies.

I started this business for young mothers like me, and for people who cannot afford expensive protein foods. I know how hard it is to put healthy food on the table with limited resources.

My mission is simple: to make high-protein cookies that are affordable, delicious, and made with love. Food that makes you feel strong and proud.

I am so grateful to SA Rebuilders for changing my life. Because they believed in me, I can now build a better future for my daughters and help other families too.
